27-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Auto-Pedestrian Collision Near Deep Well StreetCALIFORNIA CITY, CA (December 4, 2023) – Wednesday evening, a pedestrian accident on California City Boulevard claimed the life of Leah Makiah Ida Phillips.The deadly collision happened on November 29th, at around 6:26 p.m. near Deep Well and Maverick Street.Responding officers learned that a woman pulled over to exit her vehicle and ran into traffic for unknown reasons.As a result, the woman was struck by an oncoming 2019 Toyota Avalon.Despite the life-saving efforts of the Cal City police, the female victim died at the scene. 40-Year-Old Antioch Woman Arrested after Deadly Wrong-Way Collision near Denny’s RestaurantSAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 4, 2023) – Kham Lam died early Tuesday in a head-on collision on Airport Boulevard.Emergency responders arrived at the incident site at approximately 3:24 a.m. on November 21st in South San Francisco.
