Identifying an NFL coach goes way beyond hiring the hot coordinator under an established coach What makes a good NFL head coach?Few things are more elusive than an accurate formula to answer a question that has been around since the league was founded 103 years ago.College coaches — even the most successful ones — are hit and mostly miss.
